Demi Lovato has a major reason to celebrate Saturday — after a difficult past twelve months that has included personal struggles and media scrutiny, she is now moving forward with her life another year older. The “Skyscraper” singer is now officially 19 years old, and fans are quickly making sure their voices are heard by turning “Happy Birthday Demi” into a Trending Topic on Twitter
In celebration of her big day, Demi posted the following image on her account to get people even more excited about the release of her new album “Unbroken” — which, ironically enough, debuts in exactly one month.
As for what Demi is planning to do, odds are that she is looking forward to celebrating with some of her close friends — which could include Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez (though the latter definitely won’t be present physically due to her nationwide “We Own the Night” tour). In a recent interview, Demi announced that she still finds plenty of time to see Miley despite that friendship not being in the headlines as much as her bond with Selena:

"I haven’t worked together with her on music. I just spent the night with her the other night, she is really still a good friend of mine we still have fun together but it’s all friendship."

Every couple has their own thing that they are into doing together — and when it comes to Miley Cyrus and her beau Liam Hemsworth, that thing just so happens to be MTV’s hit series “Jersey Shore.”


Writing in a post on her Twitter later Friday, the actress (who has new upcoming projects coming out in “LOL” and “So Undercover”) had this to say about how she and her “Hunger Games” boyfriend often spend some of their nights:


“Love when my bf yells ‘BABE! GET IN HERE!’ like it’s an emergency and then he follows it with ‘Jersey Shore is on!!!!’ haha”


Miley and Liam are certainly not the only people loving the GTL-loving gang at the minute — on Thursday night, the show bounced back again from a ratings dip to finish with nearly 7.8 million viewers along with a 4.1 rating in the ad-friendly adults 18-49 demographic (which, in the case of the latter, was the best of the night by far).


Miley is now the only celebrity to express their love for the “Shore” as of late — she is joining a rather prestigious group that already includes the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kristen Bell, and Anne Hathaway.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are one happy couple! Reunited after their busy shoot and tour schedules, the handsome pair put their phones aside and paid attention to only each other at dinner Aug. 16!

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have eyes for only each other. The former Disney darling and her hunky boyfriend of more than two years went out for a sushi dinner at Kiwami in Studio City, Calif. Aug. 16 and an on-looker tells HollywoodLife.com they couldn’t have seemed any more in love!

“The restaurant was packed, but Miley and Liam were in a corner, so no one bugged them for autographs or pictures until after they ate,” the insider says. “Normally, people are on their phones during dinner, but Miley and Liam barely touched them. They kept holding hands, laughing and smiling at each other. Even though they were being quiet, because they didn’t want attention, they were visibly in love.”

Apparently, Liam, 21, was very chivalrous and made sure Miley, 18, was taken care of at all times.

“Liam paid for Miley. It was so romantic,” the on-looker says. “Plus, he was an amazing tipper!”

Adds our source, “They were hugging and holding each other when they left. Even though everyone around them was staring, they walked out hand in hand and were having a great time on their date.”

Recently a friend of Miley’s told us the couple is happier than ever…and we love how they make even small things count — like putting away their phones and focusing just on each other.

[NEWS] Jeremy Piven talks about Miley and “So Undercover”

MoviesOnline sat down with Piven at a roundtable interview to talk about his new movie and what it was like to be part of the Spy Kids franchise. He told us why he liked portraying multiple characters and which character he enjoyed playing the most, what it was like working with Robert Rodriguez at Troublemaker Studios in Austin, and how he felt about leaving behind the character of Ari after playing him for eight years on the “Entourage” series. He also updated us on his latest projects including “So Undercover” with Miley Cyrus and Aardman Entertainment’s “The Pirates! Band of Misfits,” and he revealed the status of the “Entourage” movie.

Q: Robert is amazing how he has these two sides to him with films like “Machete” and the Spy Kids films. Does that interest you how he can do both?
JP: It really does because I would love to do that with my career as well. And that’s what it feels like I’m doing. I just came from eight seasons of playing this incredibly edgy character and now I’m just having fun in this kids movie. Next I have the most dramatic role I’ve ever played in my life called “I Melt with You.” I couldn’t be more proud of that performance. It was an incredible experience. Then, after that, I’m playing opposite Miley Cyrus so I’m kind of all over the map and I love it. The one thing you don’t want to do is repeat yourself and I’m not. It’s like personality in a cup. Give me some of that.
Q: Can you tell us about the Miley Cyrus movie, “So Undercover”?
JP: I basically play a character that puts her undercover into this world. It’s the type of role that I’ve never played. It’s a straight-laced, button-down FBI agent. He’s an Aikido expert. Miley, believe it or not, is an 18-year-old Jujitsu expert. We spar a lot verbally and she’s a little beast. I mean, she’s a force to be reckoned with. I loved it. I really didn’t have a reference for Miley Cyrus at all, but I’m a fan now. I had a great time with her. There’s just great chemistry. I never would have expected that.

Not only is it cool to know that Cyrus and Hemsworth watch the show, but it’s nice to hear that they enjoy spending time together at home, watching television. Sometimes the best relationships are built from spending quality time doing nothing important! People who are always on the go and making plans don’t take the time to get to know each other in a “home” setting. A lot of these people will move in together and realize that their home-lives aren’t compatible. Obviously Miley and Liam are cool just hanging out watching television, and that makes their relationship work.

An ADR is an automated dialogue replacement, which is the re-recording of the original dialogue from filming, so it sounded clearer and you can hear it better. In the UK, this is called post-synchronisation. I can’t wait to see the film, which is rumoured to be released in October!

On the Spy Kids fan encounters: “It’s been a really wonderful experience, something that I feel we were super blessed with. After Spy Kids I was so worried about being able to move on and do other things, but my character Carmen was so cool and the fact that she is such a super hero, I really stayed separate from my character. It’s hard not to think of Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana for example, and it took a little while for her to break out of that.

Selena, 19, will be at the ceremony but won’t be singing, she tells radio station KC 101.3.

Miley Cyrus’ relationship with Liam Hemsworth is going strong and the singer is definitely in love… however Liam isn’t the only one getting her kisses—her pups are too!

“The 2 most loyal souls I’ve ever known. My babies make me so happy,” Cyrus tweeted along with a photo of her two dogs. “I love you Floyd Stache Cyrus,” she said hours later with a photo of her newest addition.

While she manages to keep her personal life fairly private, the teen queen has never been shy about her love for her pets. She tweets a ton of photos of her precious fur-kids, and her fans really enjoy sharing the cute moments with her. Cyrus isn’t the only celebrity who shares photos of her pets on Twitter, but she certainly does it a lot!

Cyrus’ dog, Floyd, is pretty good lookin’ for a puppy! He looks like a Husky (his ice blue eyes are killer), but you have to wonder if he’s a “tea-cup” or “micro” type, as he is teeny and Cyrus carries him around all the time. It will be interesting to see if he stays small or if he gets big (like a regular Husky breed). Either way, Miley loves him and her fans are diggin’ the pics!

[NEWS] Demetrius Joyette met Miley at a very young age

In a recent interview, the “Wingin’ It” actor Demetrius Joyette said that he started his career on “Doc” where he also met Miley Cyrus and her dad Billy Ray Cyrus.

M&C: When did the acting bug bite you?
Joyette: I’ve acted since I was 8. My mom kept me active and had me try different sports and activities. I modeled for a while and I had fun and from there transitioned to acting, commercials and background work.
Then I got a part on Doc starring Billy Ray Cyrus. The executive producers wrote me in for four years. That’s where my agent saw me and I started to embark on the road to becoming an actor.
M&C: Did you know Miley?
Joyette: Oh, yeah. Miley, she was lot younger. So was I!

The starlets reportedly were gifted several presents that included items from Spanx, Nike, Henri Bendel and other high end labels. Ah, the life of a celebrity!


Cyrus looked adorable in a white fringe above-the-knee dress which she paired with a turquoise necklace. Steinfeld also looked cute in a white summer dress, while Roberts kept it a tad more casual in skinny jeans, black heels and a floral tank.
